3) Kokum
4) Water
5) Spice
6) Salt

Procedure :

1) To make Talalele Masaledar Aani Kurkurit Suranache Kaap or Spicy And Crispy Fried Slices Made From Elephant Foot Yam Vegetable, first take a large suran or elephant foot yam vegetable. Then carefully remove the dark brown peel of this suran vegetable with the help of a knife or a cutter.
2) After removing the hard skin from the suran vegetable, cut the suran vegetable into four pieces with the help of a knife or a cutter and then make long medium sized slices of this suran in a large vessel. Rinse all these slices with water so that the soil in these slices is removed.

4) Then turn on the gas and place a large cauldron on it and add oil as required to fry the suranache kaap or slices of suran vegetable in this cauldron.
5) Heat the oil in a cauldron over medium flame. Once the oil is heated, then the suranache kaap will be easily fried in hot oil.
6) When the oil is properly heated, turn the gas to low flame and then carefully fry the suranache kaap or slices into oil. Take special care that oil does not spill on the body when frying suranache kaap or slices in oil. Then keep the gas over medium flame and fry all these slices till they turn reddish brown.
7) Once the suranache kaap or slices are well fried, drain the oil from the slices with the help of a sieve and remove to a plate. Thus hot, crunchy, spicy and sour fried slices of suran vegetable will be ready to eat with bhakari or chapati.
