Procedure :

1) It doesn't take much ingredients to make Talaleli Idali or Fried Idali. If Idalis are made on the previous day and if there are more Idalis left over at night, then these Idalis should be fried and eaten on the next day so that they are not wasted.
2) To make Fried Idali, first take the remaining idalis of the night in a large plate. Cut all these idalis into three equal pieces with the help of a knife.
3) Then turn on the gas and place a large cauldron on it and add oil as required to fry the idalis in this cauldron.
4) Heat the oil in a cauldron over medium flame. Once the oil is heated, then the idalis will be easily fried in hot oil.
5) When the oil is properly heated, turn the gas to low flame and then carefully fry the idalis into oil. Take special care that oil does not spill on the body when frying idalis in oil. Then keep the gas over medium flame and fry all these idalis till they turn reddish brown.
6) Once the idalis are well fried, drain the oil from the idalis with the help of a sieve and remove to a plate. Thus hot, crunchy and tasty fried nutritious idalis will be ready to eat with tomato sauce or spicy coconut chutney.
